Act Justly - Love Tenderly - Walk Humbly - With your God
Our school is a U3, Decile 5 full primary school with a current roll of between 125 and 130 children. Our school is very welcoming with a positive and friendly atmosphere.
The school's aim is to enrich children's lives by nurturing personal dignity, respect for others, a sense of community, and the living of Gospel Values and the Virtues programme. St Teresa's is a happy school where we care for each other, develop a love for learning, achieve our personal best, and share our talents with others. The strength of the school is that all members of our school community aspire to be:
- Positive and supportive
- Model and embrace new learning
- Work together to achieve our goals
- Strive for excellence and high achievement
St Teresa's has a dedicated and professional team of teachers and support staff. They are caring in their approach with students and are focussed on providing quality teaching and learning. Our staff are encouraged and supported to participate in professional development.
Our current staff consists of the principal, 5 full time teachers, 1 part time teacher, 3 teacher aides, office manager, school cleaner and caretaker. We have an active Board of Trustees who are professionally strong and very supportive. The school is supported by a parent group – FOSTA (Friends of St Teresa's').
